Sarah and Ben stood frozen as they faced the members of The Order. The dimly lit chamber only added to the tension in the air. Sarah could feel her heart pounding against her chest as the members of The Order approached them. She glanced at Ben, who had his hand on his gun, ready to defend them if needed.
One of the members, a tall and imposing figure, stepped forward and spoke in a deep, menacing voice. "You have trespassed on our territory. What business do you have here?"
Sarah took a deep breath and tried to steady her nerves. "This mansion and the treasure within it belonged to my great-grandfather. I have every right to be here."
The member chuckled. "Your great-grandfather was a member of The Order, and the treasure belongs to us. You have no claim to it."
Sarah felt a surge of anger at the thought of her great-grandfather being a part of such a secretive and dangerous society. "I don't care about your society. All I care about is finding the treasure that belongs to me."
The member's expression turned dark, and Sarah could feel the tension in the room rising. Suddenly, there was a loud noise, and the room shook. Sarah and Ben looked around, confused, as the members of The Order scrambled to their feet.
"What's happening?" Sarah asked, her voice shaking.
One of the members turned to her. "It's the curse. We must leave now."
Sarah and Ben watched as The Order hurriedly left the chamber, leaving them alone. Sarah's mind was racing as she tried to make sense of what had just happened. "What curse?" she asked.
Ben shook his head. "I have no idea, but we need to get out of here."
As they made their way out of the chamber, Sarah couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. The treasure was no longer just a simple inheritance. It was now a dangerous game, and she had no idea what she was getting herself into.
